In No Post 13 has enunciated the concept of pseudoscience. Well, here's another example: graphology would be the branch of psychology that has as its object the discovery of a human personality through the analysis of its graphometers free (ie not at all constrained by a formal artistic canon) calligraphy. As it happens, however, that there are still no provision for the establishment of an order of graphology. This is because not yet been deemed scientifically reliable although no theory of graphology in the forensic field are allowed, with extreme caution, graphometers comparative analysis of the calligraphic stroke in the context of investigations to establish the paternity of a signature or a handwritten document.

Una cosa abbastanza buffa è poi l’insorgere di un equivoco in ambito attrezzistico: il grafometro è, tanto un attrezzo marinaresco utilizzato per effettuare rilevamenti topografici quanto uno strumento (strutturalmente del tutto diverso) utilizzato in grafologia per misurare e classificare le diverse calligrafie.
Dato che mi sono interessato alla calligrafia come fenomeno grafico creativo di simboli, prima che come forma d’arte, non potevo di certo lasciarmi sfuggire, sempre nell’ambito di quest’ottica, le oggettive classificazioni grafometriche della graphology. These, in fact, are undoubtedly of graphic order, before psychological, and therefore, always inherent in the phenomenon of recognition of writing, are able to measure clearly how far they can push the real forms (allography) while maintaining its evocative of ideal forms (graphemes) ... and maybe not only that, who knows what else might emerge, so do not really objective and open to debate, following a more detailed statistical analysis. But of course, to make these assessments would need to compare many samples in a world where, unfortunately, by now you type a lot, is still quite frequently signature manually e si scrive con carta e penna sempre di meno e sempre più raramente.
In pratica mi vergogno quasi a chiedere aiuto a chi abbia voglia di inviarmi qualche campione calligrafico scannerizzato ma… sinceramente, non vedo altra soluzione.

La foto all’inizio di questo post deriva dalla scannerizzazione di un campione di simulata “graficomania”, che ho realizzato con una biro Bic Z4 Roller Black 0.5 mm (uno strumento che ritengo ideale, per esperimenti di questo genere). In pratica, piazzandomi di fronte ad un foglio bianco, ho recitato la parte di una persona che scrive, senza, in realtà, scrivere alcunché.
